Welcome to Gamble Township

Gamble Township is located in north central Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.  Gamble Township was formed in 1875 from parts of adjacent Lewis and Cascade Townships.  Still mostly rural, primary industries have been salt mining and lumbering.  Today, most of Gamble township is forests, farms and orchards, but is experiencing a great deal of growth due to Marcellus Shale mining activities.

Gamble Township is also home to 389 acre Rose Valley Lake and Loyalsock State Forest, and is next to Lewis Township.

Supervisor position open
   Due to the resignation of a supervisor, there is currently a position open for anyone interested in governing the township.  This is open to any resident of the township who is registered and a resident for at least one year.  Letter of interest and resume should be sent to : Secretary,  17 Beech Valley Road, Trout Run, PA 17771 by March 30, 2018.  Interviews will be scheduled after that date. The term of office will run until December, 2019 and be up for election at the primary election, Spring, 2019.
